Home Destroyed In Pueblo West Fire
A mobile home in Pueblo West is a total loss, after a devastating fire Wednesday evening.
Crews were called to the 300 Block of E Kipling Way just after 7:00pm.
When they arrived, the home was already fully engulfed in flame.
An elderly man who lives in the home with his wife was asleep on the couch when the fire erupted.
He escaped, and was taken to the Parkview Urgent Care Center in Pueblo West to be treated for smoke inhalation.
His wife was not at home.
The couple is staying with relatives for the time being.
Because of bitter cold temperatures, investigators will not go into the home until Thursday morning.
They do not know the cause, but say the fire originated in a bedroom at the rear of the home.
