Soldier, Found Dead In Barracks, Id’d
KRDO Newschannel 13 has confirmed the identity of the Ft. Carson soldier, found dead in her barracks.
Family members are mourning the loss of Brandy Fonteneaux. The 28-year old female soldier’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
Fonteneaux was found dead in a barracks Sunday morning.
Investigators aren’t saying how Fonteneaux was killed, but officials said there is no immediate safety concern for the community.
Brandy Fonteneaux was from the Houston, TX area.
The Mountain Post says no one has been arrested in connection with Fonteneaux’s death.
