Police Cruiser Hit Responding To Call
A Colorado Springs Police cruiser was hit by another vehicle on it’s way to a call Sunday evening.
Officers were southbound on South Nevada Avenue with their lights and sirens on when a vehicle failed to yield to them.
The driver who hit the cruiser was coming off of I-25 and had a green light. Police say she didn’t see the officers coming, and that lead to the accident.
Police say it’s incredible there were no injuries considering how forceful the impact was.
It’s unclear if the driver will face any charges.
