Police ‘Tase’ Man After House Party

Colorado Springs police are forced to take control of what they said was a party that got out of hand early Saturday morning.

Police said they first responded to the neighborhood in the 1300 block of Diana Lane after neighbors heard gun shots. Officers said they heard another gun shot when they got on scene, which led them to a home in the 1300 block of North Circle Drive.

Police said they detained a group of people in the backyard. Officers said Phillip Cyprian, 31, came to the back door of the house but refused to leave. Officers said they ‘tased’ and arrest Cyprian. Cryprian faced charges of possession of a weapon by a previous offender, obstructing a police officer, and prohibited use of weapons, according to Colorado Springs police.

Investigators said three shell casings were found outside the home.
