SUV Crashes Into Springs 7-11

A woman is under arrest after crashing into a 7-11 in Colorado Springs.

Police say it happened a little before 2 a.m. Thursday at the store on Pikes Peak and Academy.

Officers say substantial damage was done to the front store.

No one in the store was hurt, but police say a passenger in the car was seriously injured.

Officers tell us the injuries are not life-threatening.

35-year-old Kimberly Sandoval was arrested on charges including vehicular assault, aggravated driving under restraint, and DUI.
