Pueblo Police Seek Robbery Suspect

Pueblo Crime Stoppers is asking for your assistance in finding a suspect involved in an armed robbery.

On Wednesday, Dec. 28 around 11:00 p.m., the First Stop located at 2101 Norwood was robbed at gunpoint. The store clerk tells Pueblo Police that the suspect came into the store and approached the front counter. After a few minutes of hesitation, the suspect turned and went back to the restroom. The male suspect then returned to the counter with beer.

The clerk says the suspect spent several minutes selecting cigars and different miscellaneous items from behind the counter. When the store clerk asked for an ID, the male suspect stalled briefly then pulled out a large silver handgun from the front of his pants. He pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded money.

The store clerk gave the suspect the cash in the register and the suspect left the store.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 19-24 years old, 5’6″-5’10” tall and 130-150 lbs. He was wearing dark pants, a white tee-shirt over a dark gray hoodie, dark shoes, and sunglasses. The picture above was taken by a surveillance camera in the store.

If you have any information on this robbery you are urged to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers @ 542-STOP (542-7867) or visit their web site at www.Pueblocrimestoppers.com. Your information could earn you a cash reward.
