Power Restored In Southern Colo. Springs

Colorado Springs Utilities says about 90 percent of power has been restored in the outages in southern Colorado Springs Thursday afternoon.

According to Colorado Springs Police, there were two power outages. Traffic signals were not working properly.

A Utilities representative says the first outage affected 40 customers near I-25 and S Circle. The second outage was in the area east of Circle Dr. and north of Hancock Expy and affected 420 customers.

Crews fixed the problem around 3:45 p.m. They do not know the cause for the outages.
