“Good Riddance Day” Today

There may be some things you just don’t want to remember from 2011.

Today is a day dedicated to wiping out all those bad memories.

It’s the 5th annual Good Riddance Day, when you to dispose of anything that reminds you of depressing or embarrassing memories from the year.

Its founders say the day is inspired by a Latin American tradition in which New Year’s revelers put artifacts from the previous year into giant dolls and set them on fire.
