SUV Hits Police Car While Being Towed
Crews are cleaning up an accident after an SUV hit a utility pole and then a police cruiser.
An SUV hit a utility pole at E Costilla St and S Weber St on Tuesday morning.
A tow truck was towing the SUV when a chain broke, releasing the SUV from the flatbed. The SUV rolled into a police cruiser that was nearby.
No one was hurt in the accident.
The utility pole needs to be replaced but there are no reported outages.
Eastbound Costilla is closed at Weber as crews remove the vehicles from the scene and replace the utility pole.
