Busy Shopping Day?

A lot of cars in the parking lots of Southern Colorado stores and malls. Now, the key question is did you wade through the deals and find what you wanted?

I went to the Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs on Monday. The shoppers I spoke with tell me, the lots were full, but they didn’t think that there were as many shoppers as last year.

The signs were up everywhere pushing you to spend your money. Some had deals up to 75 percent off. One store worker told me she thought her store felt like a typical Monday instead of a busy day after Christmas, shop-a-ganza.

Shoppers also said they were spending more money this year than last. They said they picked up more employment dollars.
