Attempted Robbery At Waffle House

Colorado Springs police are searching for a man who tried to rob someone at the Waffle House on Space Center Drive just after 3 a.m. Sunday.

Officers say an older white man walked into the restaurant demanding money. The wait staff told police that the man has his hand inside his jacket and said he had a gun, but no one saw a weapon. When the victim said he didn’t have any money the would-be robber took off. He’s described as an older white man, 5 foot four with a thin build wearing a green and black flannel.

So far no arrests have been made.
