Car Hits House, Nobody Injured
A Colorado Springs woman got a startling wake-up after a car crashed into her bedroom.
Colorado Springs police said it happened at about 4:17 a.m. Sunday in the 2900 block of North Arcadia Street.
Investigators said a Brandon Anderson, 22, lost control of his car, swerved across the street, struck the curb, ran over the sidewalk,across several feet of grass, and then flew into the air before crashing into the home.
Officials said the wall collapsed inward, and the force of the crash pushed the woman’s bed across the room. She was not hurt, according to police.
Investigators said there is major damage to the home. Officials said Anderson was arrested. Police said the believe Anderson may have been driving drunk.
