Hwy 50 Reopened After Crash In Pueblo West

A crash at the West McCulloch exit of Hwy 50 in Pueblo West closed part of the highway for about an hour on Friday.

Hwy 50 is now reopened in both directions at S McCulloch Blvd W. Eastbound traffic was diverted onto West McCulloch and westbound traffic was diverted onto McCulloch main while crews worked to clear the accident.

KRDO crews on scene say the accident involved a semi truck and a car. The semi was attempting to make a left turn onto Hwy 50 and hit an eastbound Buick. The car had three people inside who were all transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the semi had minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital.

The truck driver was cited for failing to yield.
