Robbers On Loose After Shoving Clerk

Colorado Springs police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a Western Convenience Store.

Officials said at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday, the men walked into the store on Briargate Boulevard near North Union. Investigators said one of the men pushed the clerk away from the cash register, while the other man took the cash out of the drawer. Police said the men then ran away.

The clerk was not hurt, according to police. Officers said there were no weapons involved in the robbery.

One man is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with dark pants.

The second man is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a thin build. He was last scene wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Officials said both men had their faces partially covered with their hoods.
