Man Stabbed In Stomach While Walking Dog

Colorado Springs Police were investigating a stabbing Sunday evening.

The stabbing happened at Palmer Park and Academy.

Police say the victim was walking his English Bulldog when he was stabbed.

Robbery is a possible motive, but investigators are still trying to sort out exactly what led up to the attack.

The victim was transported to the hospital from the intersection of Chelton and Marion, which is south of Palmer Park and Chelton.

The victim, who was stabbed in the stomach, was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.

According to police scanner traffic, there are two suspects who are described as follows:

The first suspect is a dark skinned black male in his 20’s. He’s 6’1″ with a medium build. The suspect was wearing a black ball cap and black hooded jacket, along with dark faded jeans.

The second suspect is a light skinned black male in his 20’s. The suspect was wearing a blue flannel top, and blue jeans with a design.

Police say the victim and his dog both fought the suspects, and the suspects may have been bitten by the dog.
