Springs Pharmacy Bandit Arrested

Colorado Springs police have arrested a suspect linked to seven drugstore/grocery store pharmacy robberies in Colorado Springs since October.

22-year-old Nathan Kyle Gasser was arrested Friday in the parking lot of the Windmill Apartments.

In all seven cases, the suspect specifically demanded hydromorphone tablets and displayed a handgun or indicated he was armed. In some instances, he tried to disguise himself by wearing a wig or using a scarf to hide his face.

After the December 7th Safeway pharmacy robbery in Fountain, detectives were able to identify Gasser as a possible suspect.
