Children’s Pajamas Pose Burn Risk, Voluntary Recall

Some children’s pajamas by Bella Bliss have been voluntarily recalled due to a violation of flammability standards.

About 2,300 Children’s Henley Pima Cotton Pajamas were recalled by Bliss Collection LLC on Thursday.

The pajamas fail to meet the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injury to children. No incidents or injuries have been reported because of the pajamas.

The pajamas are a two-piece, cotton sleepwear set sold in sizes 2 to 12. They are white, blue, pink, or red and “Bella Bliss” is written on the neck tag.

The pajamas were sold through the Bella Bliss catalog and website and specialty clothing retailers and online stores from January 2008 to June 2011 for aobut $48 to $58.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPCS) says children should stop wearing the recalled sleepwear immediately and return it to the retailer where the product was purchased for a refund, exchange, or store credit.
