Update: Suspect Description / Pharmacy Robbed In Fountain
Police are searching for a robbery suspect in the Mesa Ridge area, after a pharmacy was robbed Wednesday night.
The robbery occurred at the Safeway store on Mesa Ridge Parkway, just after 7:30 Wednesday.
The suspect walked up the counter, and showed a gun that was stuffed into his waistband.
He left after being given an unknown amount of painkillers.
The pharmacist was the only one working, and no one else saw the robbery while it was in progress.
Officers are looking for a white male in his early 20s, about 5’10” with blond hair.
The suspect was wearing a dark colored baseball cap with a “Hurley” logo, and had on a short dark coat with white sleeves.
