Armed Robbery At Pizza Hut

Caon City Police are investigating a reported armed robbery that occurred early this morning.

Police tell KRDO Newschannel 13 that officers were called to the Canon City Pizza Hut at 12:45 AM today. Two employees were accosted in the parking lot by two masked males as they were preparing to leave following closing time. Both suspects wore black ski masks and were dressed in all black clothing. Both suspects were armed with handguns. The restaurant was closed at the time. The suspects did not gain entrance to the restaurant but did take personal effects from the two employees.
