Don’t Let A Deal Cost You Too Much

The deep discounts for holiday shoppers continue tomorrow. It is Cyber Monday. But experts say don’t let a good deal cost you too much.

Unlike Black Friday, many people will be heading to work on Monday. But before you decided to push aside work for online shopping, you might want to think twice.

A CareerBuilder study found 7 percent of human resource managers fired an employee for holiday shopping. It also found 22 percent of companies fired employees for using the internet for personal surfing.

KRDO crews talked to shoppers in Old Colorado City to find out if they would risk shopping at work.

“If it meant getting a great deal.. yes,” said Rebecca Gonzales.

“I work for government, so all of those websites are blocked,” said Monica Casmear.

“I’m a stay-at-home mom… probably could get away with it,” said Julie Reneau.
