UPDATE: Police Investigation Off Samuel Point

Colorado Springs Police continue to take investigate and incident out of a home in the 1000 block of Samuel Point, on the city’s south side.

Sources tell TARGET 13 the investigation may be tied to the homicide investigation of a body found on Gold Camp Road early Wednesday morning.

The woman who lives in the home is an 87-year-old who has lived in the home since October 2000, according to the El Paso County Assessor,

She has been identified as Kathryn Grazioli also known as Kit Grazioli. Her Google + website states she likes helping teens. She wrote that she likes helping them believe in themselves and strive to become all that they can be.

The woman has three sons and five grandchildren; she moved to Colorado after 22 years as a military wife.

Neighbor told TARGET 13 that she was very friendly and always waved go say hello.

Around 7 p.m. Wednesday night a firefighter helped detectives place plywood on a window in the back of the home.

Thursday neighbors said they know Grazioli to have been missing and they fear the case may be connected to the body found in Lower Gold Camp Road, but police have not confirmed their suspicions.
