UPDATE: Homicide in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Police say the body found on Gold Camp Road is a homicide.

Police say a call came in around 2:15 Wednesday morning about a fire on the side of the road.

When fire crews got on the scene, they discovered it was a body on fire and called police.

Police say the body was found near Tunnel 1. Due to the fire, the gender and identity of the person cannot be identified.

Violent Crimes is investigating the homicide.
