Pueblo Baby Died Of Brain Hemorrhage

A Pueblo County coroner says a 5-month-old Pueblo baby died from a brain hemorrhage.

Antonio Angel was taken off life support at Children’s Hospital in Denver Sunday evening.

According to Pueblo Police, Antonio was brought to Parkview Medical Center on Friday. The baby was not breathing.

Police said there were no obvious signs of injury.

The baby’s parents have been identified as 22-year-old Brandi Strawn and 23-year-old Anthony Angel.

The baby was then flown by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Denver. The baby was in critical condition with a serious injury to the brain, according to police.

The baby was taken off life support at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Pueblo police have initiated an investigation regarding the injuries to the child.

It is being treated as a suspicious death and are waiting for autopsy results for the official cause of death.
