One Memorial Health System Bidder Withdraws

One Memorial Health System bidder has withdrawn its bid.

Community Health Systems has withdrawn from the process to identify strategic options for Memorial Health System.

The remaining bidders are Centura Health, HCA – HealthONE LLC, Memorial Health System, Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System, and University of Colorado Hospital Authority.

Task Force members will individually score the bids until Dec. 1 when they will be made available to the public.

On Dec. 2 there will be a Task Force meeting that is open to the public. Bidders will be invited to give a brief summary of their bids and answer questions.

A moderated Town Hall meeting is scheduled for Dec. 7. Each bidder will be invited to give a brief summary of their bid with questions from the public following the presentations. This meeting will be in the Council Chambers, televised and designed to give the public a chance to hear from the bidders and ask the bidders questions.

No later than Dec. 27th, Task Force will reach a consensus on what recommendation to take forward to City Council.
