DUI Patrols Start Tuesday

With the holiday season fast approaching, two campaigns have been launched to curb drunken driving.

Starting Tuesday, the Colorado State Patrol will begin a six-day “Heat Is On” campaign to prevent DUIs.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving has kicked off its “Tie One On For Safety” campaign.

It asks drivers to tie a red ribbon on their car to promote sober driving.

More than 80 law enforcement agencies in the state are expected to have additional patrols over the Thanksgiving holiday.
