CSFD Rescue 10-Year-Old Hiker
A 10-year-old boy who got stuck at Red Rock Canyon during a hiking trip Friday was rescued by the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
CSFD was able to locate the boy on the trail. He apparently fell down and may have had some kind of an allergic reaction which made him unable to move. A parent with the child was unable to help the child down the trail alone.
CSFD says it was not a critical situation, they just needed to locate the boy and get him off the trail. Motorcycles were used to locate the patient.
No word on his injuries.
