Manitou Police Search For Quartet Of Robbers

A woman tells Newschannel 13 that she was robbed at gunpoint while walking to her motel room Monday night.

Police in Manitou confirm the report, which involves four suspects who are still at large.

Donna Churich tells Newschannel 13 that she had gone into a Sinclair store to pick up some snacks.

As she was walking back to her motel room on Manitou Ave., four men jumped out of the bushes and pointed a gun in her face.

Churich says they only got two bucks, but she got the scare of her life.

Police are now on the lookout for four African-American men.

They were all dressed in black, and were all medium height, except for one robber that Churich described as being at least 6’4″.
