Armed Robber On The Loose

Colorado Springs police searched for an armed robber Sunday.

Police said the gunman walked into the 7-Eleven on the 2300 block of South Hancock Expressway at about 4:45 a.m.

Investigators said the man, wearing dark clothing and a mask , pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded money.

He fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

Officials said they set up a perimeter around the store and a K-9 unit attempted to track down the robber, but no one was found.

The clerk was not hurt during the robbery, according to police.
