Bomb Threat Cleared At Rocky Ford High School
A possible bomb threat has been cleared Thursday after a student reported seeing a written threat.
Rocky Ford Police responded to a possible bomb threat at Rocky Ford High School this morning.
At around 11:50 a.m., a student notified the principal that there was a bomb threat message written on one of the boys’ bathroom stall doors.
All the students were cleared out of the building and the school was placed on lockdown.
Police searched the school and did not find anything. The lockdown has now been lifted. Police will not say what the message said.
A parent tells KRDO Newschannel 13 that students were evacuated to the athletic field and parents were allowed to pick up their students.
