Carjacking Near Southgate And Nevada

There was a carjacking Tuesday morning on 409 E Cheyenne Rd.

A victim was waiting in his pickup truck to warm up while parked in his driveway when two males approached from the Southern Cross Shopping Center.

The suspects are described as two white or hispanic men, about 25 years old, with thin builds. Both were wearing black hoodies, face masks, and carrying handguns. The males came to either side of the truck and order the victim out at gun point.

They took his truck, leaving the area eastbound on East Cheyenne Rd. The suspects reportedly also have the victim’s house keys.

The truck is a white Dodge Ram 2500, possibly 1995, with a tool box. The Colorado license plate is 386-XKU.

Officers checked the area but did not locate the stolen truck.

According to Colorado Springs Police, there is a reported carjacking near the Walgreens at Southgate and Nevada.
