Pueblo Police Say Instructor Sexually Assaulted Several Students

A Pueblo instructor is accused of having a sexual relationship with one of her students, and now police believe there may be more victims.

Pueblo Police said Susan Christie, 43, has had an inappropriate relationship with at least three of her students. There could be more victims, according to police.

?We have high-tech crime guys looking at computers and cellphones, going through that, seeing what else we can find,? said Darren Velarde.

Velarde said Christie is a GOAL Academy instructor. GOAL Academy is an online school in Pueblo.

?There was some kind of relationship. As far as it went, I’m not sure,? said Velarde.

Police believe there could be more victims.

?Come forward. Come to the police department,? said Velarde.

Police told KRDO NewsChannel 13 school leaders at GOAL Academy asked for their help.

KRDO went to Christie’s home to get her side of the story, but was told she wasn’t home.
