Pueblo Instructor Charged With Sexual Assault

An instructor at GOAL Academy is charged with sexual assault.

Susan Diane Christie, 43, is accused of the alleged sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.

According to CoCourts, Susan Christie was charged with sexual assault back in 2006 and tampering with evidence. The charges back in 2006 include sexual assault on a child in a possession of trust victim 15-18, sex assault with a 10-year-age difference and two charges of tampering with evidence. She?s now being charged with assault on a child in a position of trust. Police believe she had a sexual relationship with one student.

Christie worked for GOAL Academy, an online school in Pueblo, starting in May 2011. GOAL Academy released this statement; GOAL Academy terminated the employment of Sue Christie based upon credible information regarding conduct which violates GOAL Academy policies.

KRDO NewsChannel 13 found Christie worked for D-60. A Spokesperson for D-60 said she worked for them back in the springs of 2011. She worked in the clerical department in the administration building. According to D-60, she had zero contact with students in that position.

Police believe Christie was also sexting with students. They believe there are at least three victims and there could be more.
