Pueblo Police Looking For Help Cracking Car Thefts

Pueblo Police are asking for help from the public after a rash of car and truck thefts.

Investigators say it appears that many of the stolen vehicles are being stored behind or near vacant homes or businesses throughout the City and possibly even outside city limits into Pueblo County.

Pueblo Police are asking anyone who knows of a vacant home or business in Pueblo that has a vehicle parked near it or some where on the property to please report it.

Contact the Pueblo Police Department at 719-553-2502. Officers want to check the vehicle to see if it may be stolen.

If you live outside the city and are aware of a vehicle located on vacant property you are asked to call the Pueblo Sheriff’s Office at 719-583-6250.

In addition, Pueblo Police are asking for anyone with information on the suspect or suspects to call Crime Stoppers at 719-542-STOP (7867).
