Pueblo Police, Fire Crews Search For Bear

Police officers and firefighters in Pueblo are searching for a 115 lbs. black bear cub in the downtown area.

The bear was initially spotted in the Union Ave historical district, and has since moved up to the bluffs neighborhood in the 300 block of Corona, according to the Pueblo Fire Department.

The bear then went up a tree near the intersection of Idaho and Corona streets.

Authorities are now just keeping an eye on it and are hoping it comes down.

It is becoming quite a spectacle as many people in the area are stopping to see the bear.

The bear is about 40 feet up the tree.
