10th CSH Casing Ceremony Friday
Soldiers from Fort Carson’s 10th Combat Support Hospital are getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan.
At 1 p.m. Friday soldiers will conduct a color-casing ceremony. The military tradition signifies the unit’s readiness for deployment.
Over the next several weeks some 250 10th CSH soldiers will head to Afghanistan for a year-long deployment. They will conduct medical operations at five bases.
