Police: Two Men Stabbed, One In Custody

Colorado Springs police said two men were stabbed in the 2400 block of La Salle Street just before 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

Officers said they were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover.

Neighbors told KRDO NewsChannel 13 that they heard loud fighting and then screaming.

Police searched the area and found a man who is considered a suspect. Maurice Eugine Antoine was taken into custody.

Danyale McGlory who lives next door said she was especially concerned because she has children and there are many other children who live in the building.

“The majority of the people that live in these building have kids,” said McGlory. “You never know if this could have turned out worse than this.”

Police said they are not looking for any other suspects at this time, but they are looking for more information.
