Mother Arrested In Connection To Deadly Aurora Fire
Danielle Lynn Brockman, the mother of two children who died in a Sunday morning house fire, has been arrested in connection with their deaths.
Precise details of the case have been sealed, but detectives are saying that Brockman’s two children were home alone at the time the fire broke out.
Brockman is being held for investigation of two counts of child abuse / negligence resulting in death (a Class 2 Felony). Her bond was initially set at $500,000.
Brockman was taken into custody Wednesday evening, after being spotted by police on the interstate.
Two year-old Alivia Ramirez and three-year-old Timothy Joseph Ramirez perished as a result of the blaze on E 13 Ave. house fire.
Timothy died at Children?s Hospital Colorado just hours after the fire. Alivia died Tuesday morning.
Three officers were treated for smoke inhalation the morning of the fire.
