El Paso County Still Plowing Roads
El Paso County Public Services says it still has slow plows working throughout the county.
They say 31 plows are working to clear drifts and icing problems caused by high wind conditions which persisted through most of the day.
Most heavily traveled roads are already clear and passable. Conditions are improving as the wind diminishes but still vary widely across the county. County crews are working on less-traveled roads now and will continue to do so through the evening hours.
Trucks will be brought in early Thursday morning if necessary to address overnight freezing and icy conditions.
