D-20 Race May Have Recount

The close race in District 20 may result in a recount between Tracy Johnson and Kim Wright.

Kim Wright would have 31 days to ask for a permissive recount, and the Clerk & Recorder would have 37 days to complete it.

A permissive recount is allowed if the results are between .5 and 1% to the next closest candidate.

A recount would be required if the margin was .5% or less.

The recount would be between Wright and Tracy Johnson.

If a recount was requested, it wouldd have to be paid for by the Wright campaign.
