Closures On Rail Yard (B Street) Pedestrian Bridge

Construction on a pedestrian bridge at the Fort Carson Rail Yard will cause periodic closures and detours starting on Monday.

Installation work will begin Monday, October 31, 2011, to improve safety for children going to nearby Stratmoor Elementary School.

This construction work will require periodic closures and detours on both Loomis Avenues and B Street.

Loomis Avenue will be closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic and detour signs will be in place in the vicinity of Catalina Drive on the following dates: October 31 to November 1, 2011 November 12 to November 13, 2011 November 18 to November 21, 2011

B Street will be closed from Chamberlain to Hampden and detour signs will be in place on the following dates: November 2, 2011 November 12, 2011 November 18 to November 21

All closures and detours are subject to weather conditions.
