Man Arrested After High-Speed Chase

A man is behind bars after a high-speed chase that started in Pueblo and ended in Otero County.

A Colorado State Trooper spotted Corby Duran leaving a fast food restaurant on Highway 50 at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday. He was weaving around, then ran a red light and wouldn’t stop when the trooper tried to pull him over. State Patrol says he was going more than 40 miles an hour over the speed limit and managed to avoid road spikes.

State troopers finally caught up with Duran in Fowler where they arrested him on suspicion of eluding reckless driving, driving under the influence of marijuana, and possession.
