Crash Victim Looks For Family Pet

Lucinda Perry was involved in a head on crash at the intersection of Highway 24 and 31st St on Monday evening.

Perry says bystanders came to her aid and that when the doors to her car were opened, her cat Simon bolted out.

The cat ran toward the Fountain Creek RV Park. Perry has been passing out flyers and looking for him daily, but has had no luck.

Simon is a black fluffy cat with white fur around the ears and has his claws . He was not wearing a collar and has no micro-chip.

There is one more thing that makes Simon unique, “since he was a kitten, almost frozen, he never regained the use of his tail. So, it’s long and full, but he can’t move it ,” says Perry.
