UPDATE: Manhunt in Teller County Ends
Teller County deputies say they have placed Kai Skov in custody Thursday after a man hunt that began Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies tell Newschannel 13 they were called to a house north of Divide on a welfare check early yesterday afternoon.
Deputies say when they got there, Skov fired a gun twice in the air, then shot at deputies, hitting one of their cars.
The man is identified as 40 years old, 6-foot-6 and 200 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes.
Deputies warned he was armed and dangerous.
