12 Years For A ‘One Person Crime Wave’

Patricia Factor was sentenced to 12 years behind bars after declaring herself guilty of a lengthy list of shoplifting crimes.

Representatives of the stores she stole from were present and took up nearly half of the courtroom.

Most recently, Factor admitted to stealing from a Walgreens and a Kohls.

Factor also stole from a store in the Air Force Academy, hit a patrol car and hurt a police dog while trying to escape.

The El Paso County District Attorney’s Office said there is a shoplifting problem in the Colorado Springs area, and that stiffer sentences for repeat offenders my reduce the problem.
