Fundraiser Looks To Aid Family Of Choking Game Victim

The family of a boy that died playing the choking game two months ago is raising finds in memory of 12-year-old Gian-Luc Jordan.

The Jordan family is still paying off extensive medical bills after doctors at Memorial Hospital tried to save the boy’s life for 5 days before he died.

Now, Garbanzo’s Mediterranean Grill wants to help the family by hosting a fundraiser in their newest Briargate location from 4pm to 9pm on Wednesday.

25 percent of the proceeds will go to the LUCASTRONG fund.
