Escaped Convict From La. Arrested In Springs

Two inmates escaped from the Epps Detention Center in West Carroll Parish in Epps, Louisiana over the weekend.

Leonard Parker and Charles Mangrum were discovered missing during a head count. Authorities discovered a breached fence in the rear of the prison and it is believed the pair escaped through that way.

Colorado Springs Police were notified by US Marshals that the convicts were possibly in the area of 1400 S Nevada Ave. The Marshals and CSPD Officers contacted Charles Mangurn who was taken into custody and transported to CJC.

Parker is still at-large but it is not known if he is in the Colorado Springs area.
