3 Teens On The Run After Assault

Colorado Springs police are searching for three hispanic teenagers after they assaulted a Sonic Employee.

Officers say the three teens were on foot just before nine p.m. Monday and ordered $6 worth of food from one of the parking stalls at the Sonic on South Academy Boulevard. When the employee brought the teens their food one of them hit him in the face. The teens grabbed the food and took off.

The employee was taken to Memorial Central where he was treated for a broken nose.
