Springs Couple Accused Of Child Abuse Sentenced
A Colorado Springs couple accused of severely abusing their six kids were sentenced Monday.
Bryan and Tonya Ricks each received a sentence of 25 years in prison.
Police were notified of the situation when an electrician found one teenager nearly lifeless on the floor.
The couple pleaded guilty to attempted second degree murder and child abuse charges.
They could have received a sentence between 10 and 32 years.
