Plane Makes Rough Landing At Pueblo Airport

A plane made a rough landing at Pueblo Airport around 3:45 p.m. Monday.

The plane was operated by Doss Aviation, the company that does initial flight screening for the Air Force Academy.

A pilot and student were on board and neither were seriously injured.

The plane was taking off on runway 26R (26 right) and had some kind of problem and made a hard landing.

Runway 26R is closed indefinitely.

Doss Aviation, has the contract for US Air Force Initial Flight Screening (IFS) in Pueblo, CO. This program provides screening for all US Air Force pilot candidates, Combat Systems Officer (CSO) candidates, and Weapons System Officer (WSO) candidates before their follow-on training.
