CU Boulder Student Arrested For Sexual Assault
A CU Boulder student has been arrested on sexual assault charges.
University of Colorado Boulder Police arrested Nathan William Wood Monday morning on charges related to a sexual assault and multiple incidents involving the removal of clothing from women’s restrooms in the Williams Village complex on the CU campus.
According to CU Police, on the evening of Oct. 23, a female reported to CUPD that she and friends obtained a ride to their residence hall from a male whom they had met the night before on the Hill, later identified by police as Wood. Wood accompanied the female and her friends to her room in Williams Village. The female fell asleep and later awoke to find Wood assaulting her.
Police also received reports of a male matching Wood’s description entering various women’s restrooms at Williams Village and removing clothes and towels while the women were showering.
Officers booked Wood into the Boulder County Jail on one count of sexual assault (sexual intrusion), four counts of trespass, three counts of burglary and three counts of theft.
